Guidelines to fill up the Online Application Form for B.Ed. & Shiksha Shastri Combined Entrance Test (CET-B.Ed. - 2026)

• Applicants are required to keep the following things ready before applying:

• 1. An Email Account for registration and for receiving all future correspondence till the admission process is over.

• 2. One Mobile Number to receive SMS-based notifications/oommunications related to the online application, admit card, etc., till the admission process is over.

• 3 A scanned copy of a recent passport-sized color photograph (Scanned in jpeg' format only. File size should not exceed 100 KB).

• 4. Your scanned signature using a black ball pen on a white sheet (Scanned in 'jpeg' format only. File size should not exceed 100 KB).

• 5. Access to an online payment facility/service such as:

• Net Banking

• Credit Card

• ATM-cum-Debit Card UPI - Payment

Steps for Filling the Online Application:

The entire process of filling the online application form can be completed in the following steps:

• 1. Register Yourself:

• Register for the online application process on the website

• Fill up the required entries to complete registration.

2. Activate and Validate Your Registration: Activate and validate your registration through the link sent to your email and the activation code sent toyour mobile number/email.

• 3. Login Again: After activation/validation, log in again using your Email lD and Password. Your

• Email ID is your Login D for CET-B.Ed. 2026.

• 4. Complete Your Application Form: On login, your dashboard will appear. Click on "My Application" and complete your application form in the following sequence:

• a) Applicant Details: Fill up personal details.

• b) Upload Photo and Signature: Upload your photo and signature.

• c) Educational Details: Enter your educational details.

• d) Document Upload: Upload your educational documents along with Caste Certificate, Divyang Certificate, SMQ Certificate (if applicable).

• e) Examination Centre: Choose cities for the examination center (you can choose three cities).

• f) Preview and Confirm: Preview your application form carefully, edit if there is any error, and click "Confirm" when satisfied. After confirming, you cannot edit the application form.

• 5. Proceed to Payment: After confirming, click "Proceed to Payment" and complete the payment of the application fee using Net Banking, Credit Card, or Debit Card.

• 6. Take a Printout: After successful payment, take a printout of your application form and keep it safe for future reference. Do not send the printout to Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University or anywhere else for further processing.

Exam Pattern (120 MCQs - 120 Marks)

• Duration: 2 Hours.

• Mode: Offline (OMR sheet-based) or Online (CBT), check official notification for final mode.

​This section covers a broad range of topics. Focus heavily on static GK and current Bihar-specific developments.

​History: Ancient, Medieval, and Modern Indian History.

​Geography: Physical, Social, and Economic Geography of India.

​Polity: Indian Constitution, Five-Year Plans, and Panchayati Raj.

​General Science: Physics, Chemistry, Biology (10th level).

​Current Affairs: National and International events from the last 6–8 months.

​Social Issues: Ongoing social policies and environmental concerns.

​2. Logical & Analytical Reasoning (25 Marks)

​Verbal Reasoning: Analogy, Classification, Series Completion, Coding-Decoding.

​Analytical Reasoning: Blood Relations, Direction Sense, Ranking, Puzzles.

​Logical Reasoning: Syllogism, Statement and Arguments, Statement and Assumptions, Cause and Effect.

​3. Teaching-Learning Environment in Schools (25 Marks)

​This is a critical section for assessing your aptitude as a teacher.

​Management of Physical Resources: Need and effects on school quality.

​Student Issues: Motivation, discipline, leadership, and emotional intelligence.

​Teacher-Student Relationship: Effective communication and teaching methods.

​Curricular & Co-curricular Activities: Management of school events and assemblies.

​4. Language Proficiency (30 Marks Total)

​English: Reading Comprehension, Synonyms/Antonyms, Idioms & Phrases, Fill in the blanks (Grammar), Error detection. (15 Qs 15Marks)

​Hindi:संधि/समास (Sandhi/Samas), उपसर्ग/प्रत्यय (Prefix/Suffix), मुहावरे और लोकोक्तियाँ (Idioms), पर्यायवाची/विलोम (Synonyms/Antonyms), रस/छंद/अलंकार (15 Qs 15Marks)
