🎓 Eligibility Criteria
1. Educational Qualification & Experience
Assistants & Upper Division Clerks (Posts 1, 3, & 5):
Graduation with a minimum of 60% marks or CGPA 6.32/10 (completed within the course duration).
Proficiency in the use of Computers.
Junior Personal Assistants & Stenographers (Posts 2, 4, & 6):
Graduation (min. 60% or CGPA 6.32/10) OR Diploma in Commercial/Secretarial Practice (min. 60% or CGPA 6.32/10).
1-year experience as a Steno-Typist/Stenographer (Apprenticeship Training Certificate under BOAT is also accepted).
Minimum speed of 60 w.p.m. in English Stenography.
Proficiency in the use of Computers.
📝 Selection Process
Selection involves two main stages:
Stage 1: Written Test (Objective Type)
Duration: 150 Minutes.
Marking: +1 for correct answer, -0.25 for incorrect answer.
Pattern for Assistants / UDC: 200 Questions (50 each in General English, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, and General Knowledge).
Pattern for JPA / Stenographers: 200 Questions (100 in English Language & Comprehension, 50 in Reasoning, 50 in Quant + GK).
Qualifying Marks: 50% for UR; 40% for Reserved categories in notified vacancies.
Stage 2: Skill Test
Shortlisted candidates in a 1:5 ratio based on written test performance will undergo the skill test:
Computer Literacy Test (All Posts): Cover MS Word (35 marks), MS Excel (35 marks), and MS Power Point (30 marks) over 75 minutes. Pass criteria: 60% (UR) / 50% (Reserved).
Stenography Test (JPA & Stenographer Posts only): Shorthand dictation @ 60 w.p.m. for 5 minutes (300 words), transcribed on a computer in 30 minutes. Max allowed errors: 10% (UR) / 12% (Reserved).
Final Selection: Strictly based on the marks scored in the Written Test from among those who qualify in the Skill Test.
⚠️ Key Rules for Application
Multiple Applications: You can apply for different posts in the same or different zones. However, you cannot apply for the same post in different zones (e.g., Assistant in Ahmedabad AND Assistant in Bengaluru is not allowed).
Common Exam Centres: If applying for multiple allowed posts, you must select the same written exam center.
Documents to Upload: Recent passport-size photo (20–50 KB), signature in black ink (10–20 KB), and category certificates for fee exemption/refund.
