Short Information : - Staff Selection Commission (SSC), has released the Option Cum Preference Form Notice on its official website for the Recruitment of Stenographer C, D Examination 2026. The Skill Test was conducted on 28-29 January 2026, and the last date to submit the application form was 26 June 2025. Candidates Can Fill their Option Cum Preference Form Notice using their Enrollment Number, Registration Number, or Date of Birth by logging into the portal. The direct link is provided below.

• Candidates who have passed the 10+2 (Intermediate) examination from any recognized board in India are eligible to apply. As part of the selection process, transcription is required with a time limit of 40 minutes for English and 55 minutes for Hindi.

Stenographer Grade D

• Candidates who have passed the 10+2 (Intermediate) examination from any recognized board in India are eligible to apply. The transcription test duration is 50 minutes for English and 65 minutes for Hindi.

• Go to the Login / Candidate Dashboard section

• Enter your:

  • Registration Number

  • Password

  • Captcha Code

• Click on Login

• After login, find “Stenographer Option-cum-Preference Form 2026”

• Click on the link to open the form

• Select your Post Preference:

  • Stenographer Grade ‘C’

  • Stenographer Grade ‘D’

• Choose Departments/Ministries in order of preference

• Arrange them carefully (top = highest priority)

• Drag or reorder options (if allowed)

• Choose only those posts you are willing to join

• Double-check eligibility for each post
